What is Evolution? The future of the UK's dairy industry depends on the success of the next generation of dairy farmers. Dairy Farmers of Britain recognises this fact and wants to make sure that today's young dairy farmers are properly equipped to be successful within tomorrow's industry. That is why Evolution has been formed. The primary aims are:
Membership of Evolution is open to all members of Dairy Farmers of Britain including their families and on-farm employees' as long as they are aged between 18 and 35! What's on offer? There will also be an opportunity for young members to become associate members of the Member Council (DFB?s governing body). Sporting and social events As well as providing young members with opportunities to learn more about how Dairy Farmers of Britain works, we will also be hosting a number of sporting and social events. Events will range from a series of 'access all areas' visits to our own dairies and creameries to national football and rugby tournaments with the chance to compete on an international level against representatives from other European and American dairy co-operatives.
